Spring Sprung!

I hope your day is going well.  Spring has sprung with a bit of hesitation here in GA. We're eager and grateful for the warm weather again!

The change of seasons are always reminders to me of the beautiful cycles of life.

It's Easter and You've got it Easy!

Easter = Spring = Rebirth

Easter is here! We hope that you and yours enjoy your time together and hopefully get to spend some time outside where nature is springing to new life!

We can go on and on about new life, rebirth, and new opportunities! So I guess I will!

I'm finding that that is what life is; just constant new beginnings.

Do You Worry About Those You Love?

I had been worrying about a loved one for the last few years. They had been mildly depressed for the last several years and had some uncomfortable symptoms/conditions in their body as a result. I urged them to seek help. My pleas were sometimes met with, “I’m fine. I’ll do something when I’m ready.” At other times, they would glaze over and numb out. And at other times, they would make promises that they haven’t followed through with even still.

My Idea of Discipline

Exercise has always been a part of my life. From playing as a kid with others in a pick up game of soccer, to group sports, then into marching band. In college, I always took a dance or exercise class as an elective. When I got out of college I remained active with weights, walking, & aerobics.  Then I found yoga. I admire the Ashtangis that are so disciplined in there 2 hour a day practice. I have yearned to have the discipline for that practice.

So in my own yoga practice it has been an organic experience.

Celebrating Our FREEDOM!

FREEDOM is a big deal! Some choose death over losing their FREEDOM. In our country, it is another thing that we easily take for granted. I’m glad it is something we assume will continue. Our belief is strong that it will and ‘So It Is’.
